Preparation Phase
Preliminary exchange with the client
Depending on your needs, we work with you to clarify your objectives, enabling you to develop a more precise vision of the participatory process you need to let unfold. Typically, this process begins with an initial exchange with our client (you), helping to clarify the situation. This includes the identification of stakeholders, topics, relationships, attitudes towards the proposed intervention, historical factors and other contextual elements.
Working closely with you, we assess whether this initial phase requires further exploration, a decision that depends on the complexity of your situation. As a rule, the more complex an intervention is (in terms of the number of stakeholders involved, the level of tension, the nature of the changes envisaged), the more additional understanding becomes necessary before the workshop.
Additional Preparatory Work
If the situation calls for additional efforts, these could take one or more of the following forms:
- Stakeholder analysis
- Questionnaires
- Individual interviews
- Observations of team exchanges
- Working with a broader steering committee to ensure that the right people, who are also required for follow-up, are involved from the outset.
It is during this stage that preparations for monitoring, communication, stakeholder engagement and the operational details of the intervention (design) are put in place.
Workshop Design
Depending on the situation and your needs, we are able to formulate different proposals for an intervention. These will be specifically geared to your needs and objectives, while considering the requirements of the situation.
Logistical preparations
In response to your needs, we become actively involved in resolving logistical issues, including choosing a suitable venue, configuring the room, organizing meals, and preparing facilitation materials.
Facilitation or Co-facilitation of the Event
We can help you facilitate your team or multi-stakeholder events. We put at your disposal a wide variety of participative methods to optimize these exchanges. Depending on your needs, we can facilitate these exchanges ourselves or co-facilitate with you.
Support for Follow-up
At your request, we can assist you with the follow-up of the event(s) facilitated. This can encompass several aspects, such as:
- Documentation, including the drafting of an event report.
- Finding additional funding to support your initiatives.
- Personalized coaching for stakeholders.
- Evaluation of the event with the steering committee.
- Communication management, both on social networks and on the Internet.
- Detailed planning of follow-up actions, including, for example, discussions on the plans to be put in place.
